The rear SAM(signal acquisition module) for model W203,W211 located in the trunk. It contains fuses and relays for rear sunblind, ignition position 1st & 2nd etc. Also, responsible for operation of rear lighting & operation of the partially electric seat adjustment motors.
Front pre-fuse box on models W204 & facelift, W212 & facelift ,located on the left of engine compartment. The fuses for the starter, auxiliary fan, Air conditioning blower etc. are built within. It also contains a relay for battery management and a crash sensitive pyro fuse.
Driver side fuse and relay module on model W220,W221,W215 located in the right of the engine compartment. It contains relays and fuses for starter solenoid, two tone horn, engine control module, ignition coils etc. It is also responsible for operation of front lighting and wiper motor.
Passenger side fuse and relay module on model W220,W221,W215 located in the left of engine compartment. It contains fuses and relays for ignition position 1st&2nd, Passenger side front &rear door modules, etc. It is also responsible for controlling the Air Conditioning compressor.

Here you can see oil residue on the exhaust mufflers on a W140 S500. This leads to a constant emission of bluish white smoke from the exhaust. Possible reasons are Weak Valve Stem Seals, Head Gasket, PCV blockage and mainly due to poor Maintenance.

The parktronics control module in models W204,W212 located in the trunk. It uses obstruction sensors or echo sensors located on crash guards(bumpers) as inputs and provides the driver with information using a display and acoustic warning.
